Once again FutureLab had the privilege of working with the Jack Daniel’s team alongside BCG2 agency. This time, Jack Daniel’s are running a competition to reward the most creative repurposing of the iconic Jack Daniel’s barrel.
FutureLab provided the custom web development for the competition website. The information entered onto the site had to be linked to Brown Foreman’s API database as all users had to confirm they were at least 18 years old in order to enter the website.
The voting system is integrated with Facebook so that after Jack Daniel’s selects ten top competition entries, users will be able to vote on their favourite by liking it on Facebook. We also had to ensure that each Facebook account could only vote once for the same entry.
The whole website https://www.jackdanielsnz.com/ was custom developed for this project, with FutureLab building each function according to the client’s requirements. We also tested the website extensively, and proofread all the main content.
