IMG came to FutureLab after trying and failing to find a designer who understood what they were trying to achieve. IMG had some designs which were only half-done, and a very tight deadline of just 30 days to refine and sign-off each page design, build and launch the website.
Refreshed brand design
IMG have a long history and were reluctant to deviate from their old branding, while acknowledging the need for an update. We refreshed the brand, weaving design elements from IMG’s brochures into the website and updating the logo and brand colours for a more modern presentation.
Customised WordPress theme
Using WordPress would allow IMG to self-manage their website going forward. We worked from the WordPress platform but introduced a lot of unique styling, features and themed elements to make the website highly customised for the IMG brand.
Project management to urgent deadline
IMG got in touch with us mid-October to discuss taking over the website design and build. We began work at the end of October, for a deadline of 30 November. To speed up the process, we worked on a page-by-page basis so development could begin while other pages were still waiting for approval.
We have never turned around a large, custom design and build project so quickly! We managed to get all page designs refined and approved, built and ready to go in just 30 days. The website is a highly customised platform that successfully carries the established IMG brand into the future.
“Creating a new website is no easy task, but working with Futurelab made IMG’s life far easier. Nothing was ever a problem and no query too big or small. We look forward to continuing to work with them in the future as we develop the website further.” – Jackie, IMG
